![]() From top to bottom: Bella, Ruby & Lucy These three beautiful wadi dogs will be leaving us next month to go to Greyhound Friends Of New Jersey for a better chance of finding their forever homes. Bella has been at the pound for nearly 18 months with not one person asking about adopting her in that time. Ruby was only brought to the pound last week where she stayed for one night and is now in a foster home. She's a very lucky dog as foster homes are hard to find especially straightaway! Bella & Ruby are both originally TNR dogs who managed to live on the streets by being fed by their local communities. However, both dogs had also received complaints from some not so happy members of the local community so they came to the pound for their own safety. Lucy has always been a stray and came to us in January with her litter of eight pups. The streets are not a safe place for any mother dog trying to look after her pups. Six of her pups flew to New York last month and are safe in the care of Fast Friends Greyhound Adoption in New Hampshire. It is now Lucy's turn to find her forever home. She has really improved in confidence and relaxed a lot around the volunteers, and she was seen today playing for the first time with her new doggy pals Max and Chimba! Lucy is a really sweet girl and will flourish in a foster home so she is going to America for her chance of finding her foster and then forever home. If she stays in Muscat, she will be waiting a long time :( If you would like to donate towards getting these dogs on their way, please click on the following link. Any donation to help these dogs get to America is gratefully received!! https://www.gofundme.com/manage/help-to-send-bella-lucy-dolly-amp-ruby-to-the-usa We will be posting regular updates about these three lovely dogs and hopefully they will find their forever homes soon! Thank you!
